We own two condo’s on Lake Shore Dr. that we use as rentals, and for the first time in 24 years both came up for renewal at the same time and right when we were looking for a new realtor to handle the listings. This totally stressed me out big time as we actually live in Alaska over 3500 miles away, not to mention the 3-hour time difference. Kit Welch was awesome! Over and over she demonstrated exactly what we needed from an agent. We needed someone to help us to coordinate a move from out of state which is a daunting task. We are a non-traditional family and Chicagoland is a big place, parts of which are better suited to our needs than others. We found Kit to be knowledgable, helpful, and just plain likable. She helped to link us to resources to facilitate our home purchase and to help us establish our lives. While we've completed our home purchase, I don't think this is the end of our relationship with Kit. Down the road we plan to do some remodeling and will seek out Kit's advice on potential contractors and what changes would help our home's resale value and what to avoid. I reached out to Kit based on a recommendation from a friend. I had less than a week to find a new place to live and was having no luck on my own. I highly recommend Kit for your real estate needs. I was referred to Kit by my brother who she previously helped to find an apartment that he is very happy with! I was under a time crunch to find somewhere affordable and safe to live within 2 weeks and Kit was extremely prepared and helpful from the start.
